Forum Rules
1.)No spamming Spamming is defined as anything that does not contribute to the thread or the discussion. This forum is NOT a chat room, please do not use it like one. Take the time to think out your post and make sure you're spelling stuff right (or to the best of your ability). Before you post ask yourself "Is what I'm posting contributing to the discussion?". If the answer is NO, then don't make that post. If you find that your wonderful thread/post has been deleted, DO NOT REPOST IT. It was deleted for a reason. People who constantly break this rule we be given a post count of 0.
2.)Don't double-post "Double posting" is posting two or more times in a row. If you want to add onto your post, click on the EDIT button ( ) and it will let you add more information into your post. If your computer connection messes up and you somehow post the exact same thing twice, do not worry, just edit out your second post and a Moderator will clean it up. If you post after 24 hours and it contributes to the thread, you will not be given an infraction.
3.)No Flaming You can leave it to the mods/admins if someone is doing something wrong. Do not post things such as "that's against the rules"; just report the post.
Be nice to other posters, if you see someone new, rather than make fun of him/her, why don't you offer to help them out and show them how the forums work? Also, please do not attack the Moderators (or their websites). The Moderators have a hard enough time dealing with all of the activity here on the forums, don't make it worse by making them feel bad. They are people too. We also understand that English is not everyone's first language and that some people naturally have a hard time reading and writing. If you see someone doing their best to be a good poster, we ask that you do not be rude to them.
4.)No porn/vulgar material If you post porn, you don't get a second chance. You will be instantly IP banned. If you swear, your posts will be removed and you will get an infraction. Enough infractions will automatically ban your account.
5.)Stay on topic Do not steal thread to post your own tracks, fight with people inside the threads or post stuff that is no where near the original title of the thread. If a thread gets too off topic. I will try and remove the posts. If there are too many that are off topic, I will remove the thread. If you are one of the people spamming threads, you may receive an infraction.
6.)Becoming a Moderator Please do not ask staff members if you can be a moderator. We are always looking at who is helpful and knows a lot about where they are posting, so in a way we are "always" looking for new moderators. If we think you'd make a great addition to our team we will contact you, not the other way around.
7.)Posting Trackcode When posting trackcode that is five lines or longer, please encapsulate it around the [spoil] trackcode here[/spoil] tags. Doing so makes it much easier to copy/paste.
8.)Do not use the Banned image Do not use the "Banned" image as your avatar or in your signature. Doing so causes confusion and unnecessary effort for the trackmill staff members.
9.)Multiple Accounts Do not Create multiple accounts/usernames. If you are caught using more then one ALL accounts/usernames will be banned or deleted. Make sure to register using your own computer, not at school or in a public place. If two people register using the same computer we will assume they are the same person.
10.)Warez This is not a illegal file sharing site. Do not Post links to, sell, or make tutorials on how to get/unlock illegal software on the forums. Doing so will get you banned, as well as reported to the appropriate authority.
11.)Administrative Name Changes Please do not ask us to change your usernames for any reason. It has the potential to interfere with the way tracks, levels, and user information is stored. When you choose your name, stick with it. If you absolutely MUST have a new name then we ask that you simply register a new account. Any tracks you have made or achievements you have unlocked will NOT carry over. That is the price you face for the decision.
12.)Ad Bot's Ad bot's are the people who post the links to sites that try to scam you or sell you something. Use the report abuse button and we will take care of it.
Please do not reply or quote them for any reason. This is as bad as posting the ad yourself and will result in a temporary ban to your account.
By posting and participating on the Trackmill.com forums you are agreeing to the terms and rules listed above. Failure to comply with the rules will result in your account being suspended or banned.
